Our Lady’s is a Catholic School therefore Religious Education is taught in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church using the ‘Learning and Growing as the People of God’ programme. Catholicity and our Salesian identity is at the heart of our whole curriculum.
The curriculum here at Our Lady’s Catholic School is built on creativity and enjoyment. Our creative curriculum is carefully planned into topics which encompasses subjects across the whole curriculum. Our aim is to support children's natural curiosity and stimulate their imagination. Due to our school having mixed year group classes, topics are planned on a two-year cycle; Year A and Year B. Foundation Stage continue to teach their topics on a yearly programme.
Our curriculum offers children the opportunity to work in depth, giving them the time they need to reflect, consolidate and transfer their learning.
